Sunward Intelligent 5G intelligent rotary drilling rig realizes remote control operation

On October 29, at the construction promotion meeting of the "5G+Industrial Internet" pilot zone in Hunan Province, Sunward Intelligent demonstrated the remote control operation of 5G intelligent rotary drilling rigs for the first time in the world.
The rotary drilling rig SWDM360H displayed by Sunward Intelligent is located at the work site in Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, and the 5G remote control cabin is located in Shanhe Industrial City, Changsha City, Hunan Province. The remote control cabin is equipped with a data link system, a remote control operating system, a high-definition image system, and a two-way voice system. The rotary drilling rigs and remote control cabins located in Hunan and Guangdong are connected across provinces through China Unicom's 5G network. The rotary drilling rigs have successfully implemented precise construction under the control of the remote control cabin.
